OpenBeta – An un-conference — a participant-driven community event — aimed at exposing ideas and creating opportunities by connecting smart, passionate and motivated people with different expertises.

Oklahoma City Crime – An online service providing crime maps, reports, and statistics for the Oklahoma City metro region. Publically available crime reports provided by the OKC Police Department are automatically parsed to identify crime incident details. Aggregate frequency and location statistics are compiled and made freely available.

Shiny Happy Users – An eBook and podcast series focused on website design, implementation and user research. Topics include user experience, usability testing, iterative development, website design, interface prototyping, user interviews, user profiles, personas, contextual inquiry, card sorting, focus groups, surveys, and diary studies.

The Science of Addiction – An online scientific fact-based resource aimed at educating teenage audiences about the consequences of methamphetamine abuse without resorting to scare tactics. The project uses computer-generated 3D images and videos to help generate interest in the topic and enhance the viewer’s learning experience.
